It was Theo Thorny Devil’s birthday party, and animals from all over the jungle were making their way to the gathering. Tracy Tortoise had spent the last hour planning her route to Theo’s Thorny Devil’s house. Whilst she was preparing for the long walk ahead, Garry Gorilla was fast asleep.
Tracy had planned to stop by Hopeful Waterhole, half way to Theo’s house, where she would rest and quench her thirst before arriving at her destination. Tracy began the slow, lengthy journey, she wasn’t very far from home when she noticed the trees in which lined the path had begun dropping their leaves. Amazed by them, Tracy decided to stop and admire the brightly coloured leaves laying on the ground before continuing slowly on her way. Preoccupied by the mysterious spiritual exchange, Tracy failed to notice the environment around her, which would have once captivated her for hours.
Left feeling relaxed and unhurried, Garry casually made his way to towards Theo Thorny Devil’s party. Not long after leaving the waterhole, Garry Gorilla was stunned at how beautiful the jungle was and felt disappointed in his failure to previously stop and admire the simple things in life. Garry noticed several brightly coloured butterflies, flying amongst the flowers that lined his path.
In no time, Tracy Tortoise had arrived at Theo Thorny Devil’s house and immediately started mingling with her friends around the lake in which flowed through Theo’s backyard. As Garry was no longer felt rushed, he arrived calmly at Theo’s party, quite some time after Tracy. Unbeknown to both Tracy and Garry, they found themselves once more, sipping water at the same time, this time from Theo’s lake.
