Third Base Massacre

Although there are many unexpected things that have happen to me, the one I remember the most is when I slid into third base and hurt my knee. First, when I slid into third base and hurt my knee very badly, I was shocked. I usually just get up and shake it of, but not this time. The ball was hit to short stop and I was on second base. They missed the ball so I ran. When I slid into third base I slid wrong and I feel on my knee, and my knee twisted. I rolled on my back and everybody thought I was laughing because thats what I usaully do when something like that happenes, but not this time. They had to carry me off the field and to the ER. The good thing is that I was safe, and that my team won the game! I had lots of family and friends call and check on me to see if I was ok, and some even came to see me at the ER. My mom said that she called the school and told them what had happened. They said that I could do my speech the next day. I told my mom that it was ok that I was well enough to go to school, and that I had friends to help me when I needed help. When I got to school everybody helped me and I turned in my homework for all my classes, and did my speech. My principal said that my speech was outstanding! I had to have my mom come pick me up because my knee was hurting. All the teachers said that I was a good student to come back to school with a hurt knee. All that week I had to wear a knee brace. I couldn't play outside at school, so me and one of my friends filed papers for teachers. We also helped students that needed help on homework or didn't understand their homework. When I got to school the first day, everybody asked me if I was safe or out. When I told them I was safe they said ''Good job.'' In every class I had a friend to help
