One of the most interesting experiences I have ever had was when something happened on the third floor of our house. It was something that has never happened in our house before. We were not sure what exactly to do when it happened. It was just a situation where we did whatever we thought we should do. It all happened on a normal day during winter break. I was on my X-box and my Mom was watching TV downstairs. My Dad just came home from work because he got off early and a good thing that was. While I was on my X-box I saw my Dad running through the hall to the third floor. I was very confused when I saw that. So, I went out of my room and asked my Dad what was wrong. Running fast down the hall (Participial Phrase), he answered me and said a pipe burst on the third floor. …show more content…
I saw that there was water coming from the bottom of the walls and coming out of the light sockets and the ceiling it was a lot of water. It sounded like there was a waterfall in the walls. We grabbed every towel we had to try to save the hardwood floor. I looked in different rooms on the second floor to see if I needed to put buckets or towels down and for sure I did. The wet ceiling, gushing down water (Absolut), pouring fast down the wall in the extra room. When I saw that I ran and brought buckets and set them down where the water was coming from. I also put a towel by the wall because water was also coming out there too. During that my Dad went into the crawl space to turn off the water. He said there was water leaking into the crawl space that’s how bad it was. The whole situation was a crazy
