All it took was one person to help me define what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and that was my third grade teacher, Ms. Febrillet. This teacher inspired me to become a teacher myself in the future. Back in third grade I discovered how much I loved working with other kids, help Ms.Febrillet organize and even create charts for the class room. I used to eat my lunch with her in the classroom to just be able to help her with things for the classroom. Seeing myself give up my lunch with my friends helped me understand that I was very determined towards becoming a teacher. To keep on teaching me about what I wanted to do later on Ms. Febrillet once a week she assigned me to create her charts. We used to prep for the topic that was coming up next and this was where my creativity was really touched for the first time. My third grade teacher used to give me paper and markers to take home and practice my fonts to create the classroom charts. I learned how important is for things to be in order when you have a group of kids because it will help teachers have more control of what they doing and of what they have done already. During that time when the students used to see me peeping with the teacher and helping her they would all call me “little teacher”. Which actually made me feel pretty good about myself because other people other than my teacher were noticing that I like everything that has to do with teaching. When working with my friends I would always try to have my friends behave good and complete their work in class for Ms. Febrillet to have a smooth day going on.
