Ideally it should be an investigation into a workplace project(s) issue or aspect of interest to you.

It is to be written as a formal report with executive summary, conclusion and recommendations.

You will need to ‘put on your consultant’s hat’, investigate the organisation and project(s) under review and produce a report with analysis and recommendations.

If the report fails to recommend worthwhile improvements and make worthwhile judgements, then it in all likelihood has failed to meet its purpose

The assignment will cover the following:

•Short Introduction and background details of the organisation
•Compare how the organisation currently undertakes its project delivery relative to PMBOK, Larson, text references, class activities and Harvard Case Studies, citing problems, advantages etc.
•Compare the references against how the organisation does it; make assessments and recommendations for any required changes
•Use tools, literature and class learning/activities to describe how the issues can be greatly improved
•What are the project problems identified and what are the proposed solutions?
•What effect do these problems have on the organisation?
•How can the PMBOK, Larson & any other references, class activities and the Harvard Case studies be used to make improvements
•Use Harvard Referencing

The Individual Assignment needs to clearly demonstrate an understanding of the PMBOK Knowledge Areas, Larson & Harvard Case Studies and class activities and propose worthwhile, beneficial outcomes and solutions.

Use PMBOK, Larson, other references, class activities and the Harvard Case Studies, to establish recommendations and conclusions for successful project delivery
