Every Trip Is a Quest (Except When It’s Not) was very interesting. Thomas Foster has a sense of humor as well as good idea of how to get a educational point across. The example scenario he thought of in the beginning of the chapter shows just how easy it is to create a story that follows the typical “Great Quest”. This also ties greatly in with Hero’s Journey, where almost all stories have some or all of the stages of the timeline within. It’s saddening to think that all of the great tales have been a slightly different version of each other, but people still love the same story in countless different settings somehow.
