Thomas Jefferson was a big part of the Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War. He drafted the Declaration of Independence, that was one of the most significant moments in his life. Today he is known as one of the fathers of our county and will forever be remembered.

Thomas Jefferson was not a great speaker but her was known for his writing skills which is why the committee picked him to write the declaration. Jefferson worked on the rough draft for two weeks before he let the committee look over it.
