Fellow loyalists, colonists, and any citizen questioning British rule: I have come here today to present to you an occurrence very significant in our government. As many of you may know, a group of citizens in our American colonies, who title themselves “patriots”, have began a revolt. They are attempting to persuade loyal British citizens that the government is unlawful, using various unjustified statements. In all truthfulness, I believe that this should most definitely come to an end, as the British have assisted the colonies in an abundance of ways. We should most definitely stay loyal under British rule, considering that they provide us with economic stability, they fought for our freedoms, even if it resulted in their debt, and the Declaration of Independence is unquestionably hypocritical.

In this document, one of your fellow patriots, Thomas Jefferson, states that all men are created equal and are enabled to have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The irony in this is how during this time, these American colonies had the largest slave population on this Earth. If liberty, or freedom, is something you are complaining about, who are you to deprive someone of their liberty? THEIR human rights? Thankfully, our King George of Britain had the morality to provide freedom to any slave willing to unite with the loyalists. If you patriots are indeed certain that the British have restricted human rights, why did the American colonists all have the slaves? To contradict the patriotic words written by Mr Jefferson, the British empire were the ones giving freedom to the people, and you were the ones who were taking it away. This “Declaration of Independence” is packed with inaccurate logic, and you all are rebelling against your own
