It is incredible that I could have influenced quite a ton of people around the world. One of my most important writing was inspired by the English struggles that let me to create the “Two Treatises of government”, published in 1690. A work of political philosophy intended to push forward the ideas of contract theory and natural rights. Even Thomas Jefferson himself was influenced by my expression “pursuit of happiness”. I influenced Thomas Jefferson’s political outlook. So I technically helped write the declaration of independence. Without the declaration of independence the United states would probably not exist.
