Tiago and his crew stumble upon an abandoned settlement. The encampment is ransacked with blood covering its walls and floors. What were the settlers running from? and why? Is a question on everybody’s mind.

As hunger starts getting a grip on all the McCrudo crew members. Nathan suggests that they eat one of the dogs. Justin is against this proposition as he sees the dogs as one of the crew members. Everyone else agrees with him.

They fight fist and cuffs, with a slip they plummet into a nearby crevasse.
The rest of the team rush to break up the fight. Instead they discover a yawning chasm in the snow eleven feet across.
Crawling forward on their stomach they peer over into the void, they dimly make out a narrow ledge far below them. Lying on the ledge is a motionless Justin but Nathan is no where to be seen. Below the ledge, the walls of the crevasse plunge down into darkness .
Frantically, Tiago and Amanda call Nathan’s name, again and again. Nothing but there echoes.
Using the harness rope that saved her earlier, Amanda climbs down to the ledge to discover that Justin is alive, but badly injured. The duo use the rope to hoist Justin back to solid ground.
Brian immediately does what he can with what he has to help Justin. He stay by his side to comfort him through the last few hours until dawn breaks.
The crew eats the cooked meat after hashing it out over if they could survive without it or not.
When morning breaks the team read a short burial service at the lip of the void before heading back to base.
