“Tick-tock, Tick-tock, Tick-tock”. The sound of the clock was excessively reminding me I was alive. The grandfather clock’s sound echoed throughout the house. I was the only one in the large three-story house, “Keep calm” I told myself. The clock had caused my head to pound continuously, I swear I can feel my brain moving. Just then I lost it, I grabbed the bat from the closet and shattered the glass into a million pieces. I loved the rush I’d gotten, I kept hitting and hitting until all that was left was a pile of shattered glass and broken wood. “No! No! No!”, that was the clock my mother loves and I had demolished it.

I was shocked that I’d done something so cruel and destructive. As I was looking out the window I saw my mothers car pull into the driveway, then the garage door went up, now she was walking in the door. What do I do? How am I going to explain this?
