The book I chose in the beginning of the year is The Perfect Season by Tim McCarver. This book was written in March 30, 1999. The overall idea of the book is how the 1998 MLB season was one of the best in baseball history. From record breaking batting averages to memorable characters that change the sport of baseball. Coming into the 1998 season there was great talent in the league. Specially two of the best hitters of all time. Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa. The author tells us how these two when at it every season with their homerooms and batting averages. Theses two guys were very good friends off the field but when it came to play ball they ball.
