Tim Miller is known as an internationally acclaimed performer. The name of the play is called Rooted. Which talks about his experience as a homosexual. In the play he talked about his struggles, happiness, his point of view on spirituality, and political topography of his identity.

The play brought out a mixture of feelings, such as my likes and dislikes towards the gay community. I say this and yet two of my best friends are gay. We all should respect the gay culture. But I still do not agree with same sex marriage. Although gay marriage is still not legal in most places in the world we all should accept the individuals choice for same sex marriage. With democracy I am pretty sure same sex marriage will be allowed in the future.

Even his choice of light fixture, shades, and almost nude wardrobe was simply relaxing to watch.

The way Tim wrote his performance is unique in its own style. I was expecting fireworks, multiple performers, and nudity. His solo performance was still touching. The audience was intrigued by his humor and approach to his story telling. I was impressed how he kept the audience attention with a solo performance, without special effect and only using his voice.

The play is effective because Tim touched on real life issues concerning the modern gay concerns and his relationship with his Australian husband. The play is talks about a prime life topic which is the gay community. Keep in mind the culture even has political influence. The play is also educational for some if not most of the audience bringing us closing to understanding how the gay culture interact with one another and the rest of us.

Tim is a great actor keeping the audience engaged. I love special effects, so one of my ask is for him to add lighting special effects. I think adding another actor to the play will give add more
