Time Capsule

Family heirlooms, money, pictures, sports memorabilia- all items that may be put in a time capsule. These items are in some way important to them to be remembered. The items in my time capsule may not be what others would put in theirs. However, these are the things I believe would best represent our current civilization: the cellphone, the newspaper, and the Bible. Probably the most innovative device that best represents our generation in a time capsule is a cellphone. I picked a cellphone because it shows how technologically advanced we have become. The convergence of many items such as a camera, computer, map would represent our need for efficiency. A cellphone would also best represent our most commonly used device for communication.
