How does a child’s perspective differ from an adult’s perspective? The book To Kill a Mockingbird does a good job of answering this question. The book tells a story of a young innocent young girl named Scout. This character exposes her ideas of her opinions and views on some very complex topics in the book. Scout as the narrator allows the reader to relate to the opinions of young readers.
One of the main ideas that show Scout is young is her fear of Boo Radley. “Boo was about six and a half feet tall, judging on his tracks; he dined on raw squirrels and any cats he could catch, that’s why his hands were blood stained.”(pg.16).
