To whom it may concern:

I’m searching for a meter/field technician position, and to also give a brief overview as to why this is my interest, per request from the Department of Human Resources.

I understand you are currently seeking an applicant with exceptional computer skills, prominent work ethic, someone who is technical savvy, and is also proficient in their regular duties. Secondly, with previous experience working as a technician in the natural gas and oil industry, I have the tools and knowledge to excel within most companies and organizations. Working for a contractor under distribution companies, I acquired the knowledge needed to become a versed technician. As I developed, I realized the work became a passion, instead of just a job. Calibrating and repairing measurement instruments can be both challenging and tedious, but it is also rewarding at the end of the day. I always enjoy the challenges a technician faces, whether it’s technical issues or just something less complex. The knowledge I have attained exserts beyond most applicants. I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution to your company and utilize my skills and passion to excel. My kindest regards, Kevin Lockhart
