Abstract

The research paper tells about good and bad eating habits. I would compare and contrast the two ads. The first ad is about fast foods and I would be discussing how unhealthy it is to eat fast food and how fast food ads are changing the way we think about our eating habits. Also, I would be discussing the bad effects on our health. In the Second ad, I would be discussing about healthy drinks their healthy effects. How Skinny water ad is really trying to convince the public on how to drink healthy and stay healthy. I also discuss the difference between these two ads. How the skinny water ad is more effective then the fast food ad

In fast food advertisement and skinny water advertisement they’re a difference between these two ads. Fast food advertisement is advertising on fast food that is bad for the health. And Skinny water advertisement is advertising on how skinny water is healthy and good for the health. People’s life today is not like how it was before. A while ago, people drank and ate very healthy food. They ate food that didn’t contain chemicals, preservatives, artificial colors, and artificial flavors. People also took a long time to cook food there for, the foods that they had were healthy foods. That’s why they didn’t get sick or faced health problems and they lived longer. In the fast food ad unhealthy eating has become very common over the years in society. This has been as a result, of laziness in making good eating decisions. The importance of having a good nutrition cannot be over emphasized as it provides numerous benefits.
The advertisement, skinny water is more effective by its looks because it is eye catching by their logo “Strut Your Skinny” and also by attractive models in the ad. Skinny water not only does it come with flavor water but with healthy vitamins and low-calories, which is why the majority of people prefer skinny water. On the other hand, Fast food is promoting there logo of “All you can eat” which means that no matter how much food you stuff your self with, the food is never enough. Fast food cares about making people happy and satisfied but in the long run they are really hospitalizing them with chronic diseases. The fast food advertisement has shown that some places have disproportionate calories in each meal. Fast foods like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy’s and others are comfortable serving high calorie food to the public. But, that’s the leading factors to our health problems like over weight Gain and Obesity, Cardiovascular Conditions, Diabetes and stroke. In natural health article states “ Overweight and obesity is now epidemic in the United States, affecting two out of three adults. The proportion of overweight children is also increasing at an alarming rate, growing 50% in the past ten years to about 15%.” Which is a growing concern across the country.
Promoting fast food is dangerous because, it can lead to high rates of obesity. Obesity qualifies as a disease, whether obesity is a condition or disease. Obesity is an abnormal high proportion of body fat. Body fat simply can be measured by body weight in proportion to height, which is the usual way of determining if an individual is overweight obese, or at normal, healthy weight. A physician or a doctor can make a determination if a patient is truly obese by calculating the body mass. The body mass calculated by dividing the body weight in kilograms by height in meters squared. The main problem with obesity is that it is an indicator of medical conditions for example: diabetes and heart problems also linked with obesity. According to American Heart association article “70 percentage of Americans are either overweight or obese. Being obese puts you at a higher risk for health problems such as heart disease and stroke”.
In the advertisement, It shows eating fast food is okay to east but
