In the town of Maycomb, Alabama (1933-1935); a widowed father raised his kids with the help of an African American maid, Calpurnia. The father, Atticus, had two children, Jem and Scout. Jem and Scout would adventure in the summer time with their friend (neighbor), Dill. One of their adventures was to get their other neighbor, Boo Radley to come out of his house, since he never comes out of his house. Atticus is a lawyer who represents a case; where an African American man, Tom Robinson, is accused of raping and beating a white woman. While the case is going on, Jem and Scout begin to get into trouble with other kids.
