In the book, To Kill A Mockingbird an African American named Tom Robinson is on trial for raping Mayella Ewell a daughter of Bob Ewell. In the time of this book, African American are discriminated in the town called Maycomb. Tom Robinson is not guilty for attempting to rape Mayella Ewell, therefore he should be set from the charges on him because there is enough evidence from both the defendant and prosecutor to prove his innocence.
