What qualities do you look for in a leader? Throughout history, this country has had many different leaders, each possessing a unique quality. Each one had their own opinion on how to rule. Tom Sawyer is not perfect, but he has multiple qualities that he could use as president. Some of these qualities include perserverence, creativeness, and bravery.
Tom was brave like Abraham Lincoln. Abraham was not afraid to stand up for what he believed in and he even died for it. Tom stood in court and told the judge about a crime he had seen. Because of this, an accused man was saved and the honest truth was known. If he is our president, he will be brave and save the innocent.
