“You wanna play rough? Okay. Say hello to my little friend!” This was the iconic reference that every moviegoer rehearsed after witnessing the blood-thirsty reign of Antonio Montana in the appearance of Scarface. As the movie begins, Tony Montana arrives in Miami from his native Cuba on the Mariel Boatlift in 1980. He comes in covered in scars and tattoos that mark him an assassin, and when questioned by U.S. customs officials; they do not go unnoticed. He is refused entry and sent along with his best friend Manny Ribera to a makeshift detention camp. In the camp, Tony carries out a cartel hit that earns him and his friends a way out the camp, green cards and a temporary job washing dishes at a small food stand. But his motivations are keeping him at it. As Tony knows, in America, "first you gotta get the money, then you get the power, and when you got the power, then you get the women – then, Chico, you got the world by the balls." Scarface knows what he wants, and that’s it. He is a man set out for money, and won't settle for anything less. Tony carried six simple, easy to follow rules that were his motivation for everything he did: Trust yourself, “you know what you’re worth, go out and get what you’re worth.” Break some rules, Sometimes, you gotta just “go anyway.” Don’t be afraid to fail, you want to do something, do it. Ignore the Naysayers, the world is full of people who will tell you what you can or can’t do. Block them out. Work like Hell; your friends go to the bar every day after work, but you went back to school. Again, you know what you want, and you know what you need to do. Finally, give something back, give back to the people in your life who supported you on your
