Towanda and I have taken the next step in our relationship and I am very excited to tell you all about it. A couple of weeks ago, we decided to go on vacation to Las Vegas. We ended up driving there, stopping from state to state and taking pictures of everything we past, enjoying the experience of the open road together. When we finally arrived, we headed to our room at the Bellagio to try out the bed. Later, we went to dinner. This is where Towanda popped the question and I accepted. The restaurant clapped and hollered with enthusiasm and excitement. We decided we were going to get married by Elvis and have a private ceremony with just the two of us. As we arrived at the Elvis chapel, the receptionist explained that we needed two witnesses to be present for our wedding. Towanda had an idea, she left the chapel in a hurry while, I sat in the waiting area. She came back with two homeless men she seen earlier down the street. We took them for new clothes and bottles of booze in exchange for their services. Since, both of us were the brides to be during the ceremony, Elvis walked us both down the aisle. We stayed on a beautiful resort, which was something she has never seen or done before. She was amazed at the beauty of it all, since the real Jamaica looks nothing like this. As the days went on, even though she was hesitant about it, she decided to take me to meet her family. As we left the resort, the atmosphere around us changed drastically. The scenery went from rich to poor within a couple block radius. I had no idea this is what Jamaica looked like. She wasn’t scared, but I was terrified.
