1) My job role as Field care supervisor is based around me being responsible for a caseload of customers and carer's. I have a duty of care to both to ensure that they remain safe and happy in the care they give/receive.
The carer's that I am supervisor for I have to ensure they stay compliant which means the following:

We hold all relevant documentation for them
All mandatory training is up to date
Spot check them on a regular basis to ensure they are following training policy and procedure
Quarterly supervisions annual appraisal

For my customers I have to do the following:
● Assess the customers when they first come to Allied to ensure that we can meet their needs.
The assessments are then put into a care plan which will keep the customer and carer's safe.
● Ensure their care plan is person centered so they are able to feel comfortable and independent in their own homes.
● Review care plans on at least a 6 monthly basis or when requested by carers or customer.
● Assist customers to remain independent safely in their own home. This could mean assisting them to contact outside services such as doctor, social services, hairdressers.
It is also my job to recruit new carers and ensure we are get all relevant paperwork such as references and a negative DBS certificate before they are able to go our and see our carers. Once the new carers have done their induction training (providing they pass) and all relevant documentation has been obtained I will then need to pair them up with a care coach who they will do their shadowing with.
