The government’s job is to create laws, create a judicial system and pass laws that will better a country, yet sometimes that is not the case for the country; sometimes, the government does not work in the favor of the people. There are two sides of the argument of whether government is a positive force or a negative necessity and both sides have valid points. Some people believe that the United States of America needs a government to ensure safety, while others believe that the government interferes with the citizens lives too much. Both sides have valid points, yet the United States of America needs a government to help the citizens in the nation, as well as keeping peace for the rest of the world.

The executive branch such as the president and his cabinet, will create laws that will better the nation. It will then move to the legislative branch cool either pass or deny that wall and example this would be requiring people to have proper safety while driving in the car. This includes seatbelts and airbags. These will protect someone tremendously if they are in a car accident. The government has also passed a bill to make the use of a cell phone or drinking while driving illegal. This law protects not only the driver, but the rest of the people on the ground.

One of the most important reasons to have the government create the military. Our military provides National Defense which will protect the country and the United States of America's allies. The government sends out drafts when the country needs to go into action and there are not enough soldiers already enlisted. The government also from the military to ensure that they have the proper uniforms and weapons needed to defend our country. The nation needs some sort of National Defense but without the government, United States of America will be in grave danger of an attack from enemy
