This paper will use the case of Maria at as a specific example of the inequality that transgender individuals face, as well as other cases of discrimination and harassment, to provide a background on the issue of transgender human right in the workplace in Canada. I will use Vanderputten as a specific case example to provide evidence of workplace discrimination.
