In this document I will be writing about 3 different companies and their roles and responsibilities.
British airways –
British airways are the largest airlines In the U.K and they provide daily flights to more than 400 cities worldwide. Like most large companies they need focus on different goal and objectives they have set themselves both short run and long run.
British airways are a company to make a profit and to do that they have roles and responsibilities.
One of their main responsibilities would be to keep their customers happy and to meet the needs of their passengers, they do this by providing a lot of different places and routes the passengers can travel to. Another responsibility they have is to fulfil its responsibility to its shareholders that expect British airways to make profit. Providing staff with good conditions to work at is also a very important responsibility that British airways have.
The role of British airway is to make sure everyone is safe while out in the air but also to make the flight enjoyable
British airways general goal – their goal is to become the world’s leading premium airline, as this is a huge goal to achieve they have divided it into 3 areas; Global which is to make sure the airlines appeal to all passengers, this will cause customers to come back to the. Premium is to make sure that passengers receive the highest quality of service where ever they encounter the airline. And the last section is called airlines which mean maintain the focus on aviation with the latest equipment, products and services.
British airways also have strategic goal, and there’s 5 of them. Goal by having First of the goals is Airline of choice which means they want to remain the top choice for international flights, the provide for that by having providing flights to over 400 cities worldwide daily. The second goal is to provide top quality service , they make sure they provide the best customer service to all passengers on all flights and classes of travel and improve online services. 3rd goal is key global city growth this is to provide more and more flights to different cities. 4th goal is to expand the leading position in London, by maintain Heathrow airport as a world-class hub and influence government policy and airport owners in continued support. The last of the strategic goal is to meet customer needs by exploring the latest options and products to increase and improve their customer loyalty.

Customers – even though customers are their main source of profit, they still have some impact on how the company is maneged, this is due to the fact that British airways wants to keep their existing customers and wants to attract new customers, which means british airayways have to listen to what the customers think of them and their service.

Employees - they have the power of influencing the customers and making sure they come back. How every it according to a reviwe it has been said that emplyees arent satisfied with British airways and they have showed that by having strikes several times. This shows that employees and management don’t have a strong realationship.
