It was incredible. All of the beautiful dancing. The vivid colors on their dresses. The people all dressed up. My brother and I were sitting on the ground watching in amazement as the dancers twirled before our eyes. It was only four years ago, my family went to visit Mexico, but it feels like it was yesterday. It was the one of the most incredible things I had ever seen.
The week of September 28, 2012 my family went on a trip to Mexico. I went with my brother, mom, and dad. The plane ride there was very long and boring, but arriving in Mexico was one of the most amazing stites. I remember walking under a bridge of a million little bricks and looked around with a dazed face. I was speechless. The first thing I did when I got there was jumped in the saltwater pool. “Splash.” I felt the soothing water cooled my back as the hot sun rays hit me. Gabe!” My mom and dad called “ We are going to walk around.” My brother and I jumped out of the pool in excitement. “ We’re coming” we shouted back. There was a huge festival going on when we visited. There was over 50 stands up. They were selling things, making things and even cooking things. We looked at all the different stands, but only one caught my eye. We rushed over to the guy making bracelets. There were so many different colors and patterns to choose from. Each of us got a unique bracelet made just for us, we even got one for my sisters too.
After we were done walking around the festival, we were surprised to see people in costumes gathered in a large area, obviously setting up for something. They group arranged themselves in a line-dance type way. We were treated to a traditional Mexican dance to ward off the evil spirits. The dance lasted about 15 minutes, and then we were treated to freshly made tacos, which were delicious. As the day came to an end, we visited different places along the coast, that added to the excitement of this wonderful
