The biome I have chosen is the Tropical Rainforest. It is one of the most interesting biome in my opinion. Just to think that a single tree can do so many things that help the environment and help us humans survive such as making oxygen, absorbs carbondioxide, makes complex sugars and food, changes colours with the season, replicates/reproduce itself, and provides material to make medicine to cure diseases/sickneses. Tropical Rainforest cover approximately 7% of the earths surface, they are are primarily located in South America, Africa and southeast Asia. The Tropical Rainforest are home to a range of animal life , it is estimated approximately 50% of the worlds animal life are located in forest biome.

Food production in Tropical Rainforests continues to contribute a major part of the worlds every day existence with towns, cities and entire countries relying on the biome as a source of food, though the continued usage is leading directly to the destruction of the biome.
Foods such as cocoa is produced within the Tropical Rainforest, The cocoa tree is one of the native plants species to th Tropical Rainforest. Cocoa are used to make products such as chocolat, the cocoa butter and solids are taken from inside the pod, forming the basis of chocolate. It is also used into drinks such as coffee and hot chocolate. Fun Fact, the first drink that was ever made included cocoa In it. Also many fruits grow in the tropical Rainforest such as avocados, coconuts, figs, oranges, lemons, grapefruit, bananas, guavas, pineapples, mangos and tomatoes and vegetables including corn, potatoes, rice, cucumber aswell as spices like black pepper, cayenne, chocolate, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, sugar cane, tumeric, coffee and
