Loyalty is Unconditional…. no buts Unconditional is a powerful word, the real question is can you compare that to the people you trust in your life? True loyalty is unconditional, from a man who was ridiculed by his fellow Marines and saved 75 of them without a gun to defend himself, to the simplicity of best friends being there for each other. True loyalty is unconditional because loyalty is being there when nobody else is willing to, it's going out of your way and putting someone ahead of you. Romeo has asked the Friar to marry him and Juliet together in holy matrimony and with a little coaxing the Friars sees something, she sees a way to end the feud between house Capulet and house Montague. He believes marrying Romeo of house Capulet and Juliet of house Montague the two houses will be bound by love. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, The play, The Friar says, “ You shall not stay alone till holy church incorporate two in one”(841). The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, The play, Mercutio exclaims, “ Why the devil came you between us, I was hurt under your arm (848).” This quote supports my thesis because when Tybalt came and disrespected romeo, Mercutio not only split the two up but fought Tybalt in an attempt to protect Romeo and his honor but also ended up laying his life to rest for romeo in doing so. This shows his unconditional loyalty almost like a brotherly love that cannot be matched by any means when it comes to Loyalty. After Mercutio was killed Romeo is sent into a rage and chases Tybalt and they begin to fight which ends and Tybalt falling to Romeo's hand. In The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare ,The play, Tybalt coughs with his final breath, “Thou wretched boy, that didst consort him here shalt with him hence” (852). This quote relate to the other one in a sense that just as Mercutio had defended Romeo's honor and life Romeo has come to find the killer of Mercutio and lay justice upon Tybalt. This is a the loyalty Romeo has given Mercutio in death by taking vengeance on Tybalt and Romeo has put so much on the line to avenge Mercutio. Whether or not it was the right thing to do Mercutio’s soul may
