Tuesday’s with Morrie was about Mitch Albom and his favorite college professor, Morrie Schwartz. When I found out that it was about two people, I never imagines the impact it would have. In the beginning of this book, Mitch recalled a memory from his college graduation day. He was saying goodbye to Morrie and gave him a briefcase with his initials on it. Mitch noticed that Morrie started crying, so Mitch promised to stay in touch with Morrie. Unfortunately, he never did after college.
After his graduation, Mitch became a busy newspaper reporter. With a very fast paced life, he was constantly traveling and working. He had become so engrossed in his work that it consumed his whole life and he never had any time for anything or anyone else.

He had grown disillusioned and valued money over love. After he worked himself nearly to death, he went on a long strike and found himself with neither work nor a steady paycheck. It was only with Morrie's encouragement that Mitch was able to realize the time he had wasted. It was because of Morrie's influence that he was able to change his own life and outlook to be loving and kind. Only Morrie could get through to Mitch's heart and help him realize what’s important.
I loved both of these characters unconditionally. If I had to chose my favorite it would have to be Morrie and his personality. I loved Morrie for the wisdom and knowledge he brought to Mitch and every reader. I felt like his character came to life right out of the book. Something I admired about him is that after his entire life, the things he’s taken away from it. He learned about love, acceptance, knowing how to live. These are all lessons we should learn before it’s too late and I’m glad I read this book so soon in life so I know these values before it’s too

It’s so effective that it just makes everything in Tuesday’s with Morrie stick in my mind since it’s an actual true story based on someone's actual life. It’s a life changing story that I think everyone should read. I will usually read a book for fun or leisure and nothing life changing will come out of it, but this book has truly opened my eyes to new ideas.
I guess you could just say I learned the meaning of life. That’s the most popular topic in the world and it seems to me no one ever has an actual answer to that, but I do. The meaning of life is to spend it with the people you love, be thankful for everyday you’re blessed with, and never take anything receive for granted. Everyone needs to make the most of the amazing life they have and make every single second count. We only have one life. No one should waste it on things that only give you temporary happiness, but on the things and people they’re truly passionate about.
This book is a bestseller, because it’s life changing. Not a lot of books can touch people like this book did to me. If I could compare this book to anyone I’ve read before, it would be Are you there God? it’s me, Margaret? By Judy Blume. They both were coming of age novels that I read and impacted my life. They both taught me how to approach life and they both helped me figure things out. These two books had an impact on me growing up and I still use them to think about what to do or what’s really
