On 06/12/17, I spent half of the day at the Phenix City office reviewing files and sorting out the files from the Tuskegee location. Later, I went to Tuskegee to conduct individual sessions with my clients at the probation office. On 6/13/17, I conducted individual session with my client. During session, we review homework assignment that help client monitor her daily and weekly moods as well as assisted client with identifying triggers. I also met one of the intern client. My director asked me to check in on her to see how she was doing. The client was resistant and only wanted to speak with me briefly. On 06/14/17 through 06/18/17, I facilitated group with the children at the summer program, conducted individual sessions, site visit, documented progress notes, researched different crisis plans and forms other agency …show more content…
The individual sessions I conducted went well as usual. I came upon a crisis situation with my client while talking with him. My client came to the agency for community service. I noticed a sudden mood change with my client from the time he was there doing community service and that particular moment. After talking with the client, I learned he had a suicidal attempt on Saturday. We were not informed about the attempted by his parents nor did he seek immediately care. The client showed me where he tried to cut himself with a knife. I informed my field supervisor on what was going on. We developed a plan. I got everyone involve with the plan such as the other interns. This is hard for me because I am not sure what we are doing wrong has an agency, and how we can do
