In our production environment, DNS and DHCP will actually be hosted on servers at our Central Office.
For my client machines there will be a mix of custom built systems and Dell systems for install Microsoft Windows 7. I plan on showing steps needed to complete the WDS setup and configuration.

Building off th e proposal summary section, my first goal is to perform the steps necessary to Setup and configuring WDS. Windows Server 2008 needs to be installed and configured before WDS will work. In addition to Windows Server 2008, Active
Directory, DNS, and DHCP will also need to be installed and configured. Windows
Server 2008, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP will reside on the same computer i n my test environment. However, best practice states that any Active Directory D omain setup needs to have two or more ser vers’ setup for redundancy.
