This just in, Duke Orsino is getting married to Viola. The fair lady Olivia is also getting married to young Sebastian. There is love in the air of lyria, with the upcoming weddings of these fine people there will be many festivities around the land. Olvia has got married to Sebastian in her garden last week. Shortly after Orsino confesses his love towards viola. Sebastian was confused at the marriage at first but now is happily in love. “If it be thus to dream, still let me sleep!” He thought Olivia was kidding with him at first.
At the beginning of the story a ship coming from the mainland heads to lyria carrying Sebastian and his twin sister viola. As the ship approaches land it wrecks. Viola assumes her twin brother is dead. Viola being picked up by Olivia and the duke she disguises herself as a man so she could work as a handy man. Sebastian then enters lyria thinking his sister is dead. He enters with his friend Antonio but quickly things turn and people mistake Sebastian for the disguised viola.
Lady Olivia is a beautiful woman of the land. Many people are attracted to Olivia. She is courted by orsino and sir Andrew but insists she is mourning the death of her brother. She says she wont love for 7 years or get married for 7 years. But all this soon disappears when cesario shows up. However suggesting that her romantic feeling, like most emotions in the play, don’t run deep.
