Twin River Housing is its own suburban living community well hidden and surrounded by warehouses, junkyards and industrial buildings on the outskirts of downtown. The housing consists of one to five-bedroom multi-unit two-story apartments and small houses. All units are the same color and old. Some of the buildings have mold on the exterior walls. It is unkempt with scattered trash around the neighborhood and old or broken-down cars in the driveway. The neighborhood is very loud since it is next to a busy Richard’s Blvd. and N. 12th street. Lots of trees were around the neighborhood to give plenty of shade, but now with the remodeling, there are only stumps around the complex. A closer look at the community, there is a lot of green space in the middle of the complex. However, it is just an open space and not separated into the individual backyard. There are bus stops at each corner of the complex. Three blocks away is a Light Rail Transit station on Richards Blvd. This connects to other Light Rails. Residents all seemed to have cars for transportation. There are only two entrances for cars, but no surrounding gate to deter homeless or other elements from wandering into the neighborhood.
