Dear Governor,

Sex trafficking has been a worldwide issue for many years. Its time we but a stop to this issue. Sex trafficking is modern slavery. Women, kids, and young girls are forced to sex and do things against their will. It is a worldwide issue. Its inhuman people do not have a right to their freedom. Sex trafficking is against human rights.

Sex trafficking is becoming more and more of an issue around the world. Young children between the ages of twelve and sixteen are forced into sex trafficking. It has been a problem and is continuing to be a issue that gets neglected. U.S citizens, foreign nationals, women, men, children can be victims of sex trafficking. Under federal law any minor under the age of eighteen years induced into sex is a victim of sex trafficking

There are many help and rescue services for victims of sex trafficking but there are still not enough. Many people are not aware of how enormous this issue is becoming throughout the world. According to health and human services, there are fewer than 100 beds available in the United States for underage victims. It is our responsibility to help these victims and prevent sex trafficking from growing even larger. You can call multiple hotlines if you believe someone you know or you yourself are being sex trafficked. These children need to be rescued and it needs to be addressed quickly

The Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) was authorized in 2000 and was the first federal law to address sex trafficking and labor trafficking in the United States. There are many groups and organizations all around the world that are trying to help fight against sex trafficking. However, this crime is still an issue.
