"I had never slept in better bed I had decided.” Uncle Rainsford said. He was just over for Christmas Break and he was telling us a story about his pretty eventful summer. See, Uncle Rainsford is a hunter. He hunts all kinds of animals. My older sister thinks it’s gross and mean. But me? I love it. Of course I can’t hunt quite like Uncle Rainsford but, I’m getting there. Being 14 and all kind of holds me back but my Uncle says that when I turn 16 he will take me out hunting for real game with the rest of his men. Anyway, Uncle Rainsford was just telling me about how he got stranded on a very interesting Island run by a very terrible man and how he had to (sword) fight him to the death. “I wasn’t exactly sure what to do next,” Uncle Rainsford continued, “I walked around General Zaroff’s dead body and wondered how I had managed to do that to somebody. I know that I kill animals but that, that is just for sport. I went to the dining hall to pack up enough food for a couple of days and to get some water. As I walked outside I thought about what Whitney and and the rest of the crew were up to, if they were looking for me, or if they just gave up. I was hoping it was the former.
