Teachers and administrators should put underserved students as a top priority than any upper class because they need much more help and guidance to be able to receive the degree they wish to receive. ( thesis statement)
First and foremost underserved students are students coming from a very low income family, racial minorities and scoring very low in any academic environment. Students of color are often socially defined as “minorities” and may become targets of prejudice stereotyping, and discrimination regardless of their numerical status ( Redon, Garcia, and Person, 2004). Even though low income families may only receive a portion of benefits, but those who are upper class do receive much more beneficial benefits to help them in any situation.
