The stories “Your Move” by Eve Bunting and “George” by Alex Gino are similar in many ways, like what theme they are and how the characters are all trying to fit in, but they become unhappy. they are also similar because they share a universal theme which is, sometimes when you try to fit in you can become unhappy. they are also different in many ways from why the characters are unhappy to what's causing their unhappiness
In the stories “George” and “Your move” they both show how you can be unhappy while trying to fit in. In the story “George” she needs to hide her true self from the world to fit in. I know this because the author writes many clues in the story like, “George still needed to be certain the house was empty” or “wishing she were someone else-anyone else.” these quotes show that George needs to hide her true identity and she can't be herself
