Pets, they’re part of the family, they’re always by our side, and they’re our best friends. Our unique relationship with animals can be seen everywhere, from works of literature such as Wilson Rawls’ Where the Red Fern Grows to the devotion of actual animals like the dog Hachiko, or better known as “Hachi”. These animals mean the world to us and veterinarian physicians help us give back to them by making sure they’re healthy. Veterinarian physicians or vets make sure our animal friends are healthy by providing them with medical care. These physicians set broken bones, perform surgeries, prescribe medications, administer vaccinations, and provide geriatric care to help give our pets healthy futures.
