There are potential hazards in the health and social setting, these hazards affect all the people working in that care setting, there are loads of hazards which can be found in every surface of that care setting. This is the kind of hazards that really needs preventing. And if employees do not follow procedures they are definitely going to cause a child or an elderly to catch something or even hurt themselves especially children because they are more likely to do something like that because they don't know if what their are touching is dangerous or not. It is vital that new employees receive training when they start a new job and that that
