Networking: Networking enables a number of electronic and communication devices such as mobile phones, tablets, personal computers and printers to join together and share data. Data sharing via networking has made our lives much easier, simpler and quick. For example, my personal office computer was connected to my supervisor's computer so that data sharing can be done locally. Local area network and Wide area network are two commonly known network types. Local area network connects the devices in a limited or nearby area using a networking device. The examples for LAN could be a school, stores, hospitals and libraries. Whereas WAN enables devices to be connected over a larger area. Even if they are at the other end of the globe, like the internet for an instance.

Network concepts, protocols and standards: Standards are used by all hardware manufacturers to produce a device if one manufacturer wants to use another manufactures hardware devices to connect with its manufactured hardware devices they must all follow the same standards if they do not follow these standards they will not be able to communicate with one another. The protocol is a way where computers can communicate with each other and this can only be done when they use the same protocol. It is a set of rules

The security threat can be in the form of viruses in the email or removable storage, hacking, or any unauthorized person getting access to the files or data. The company I work at uses antivirus spyware, firewall, to restrict any unwanted or corrupt data to enter the computer systems. Government organizations and banks have advanced network security to ensure that the secret files are not hacked into. Even schools or education systems use security measures to ensure that exams files are not hacked
