The issues are the workforce; is an issue as it requires certain grades or requirements to work in the NHS whether it is to be a doctor, nurse or receptionist. The need of special equipment, the amount of rooms for surgery’s and the need for medication; are all issues that the hospitals deal with because of the needs of patients, workers or the government. Public health is an issue for the NHS as most patients need surgery or medications containing someone else’s organs or blood to live. However, most people aren’t willing to give away their organs to strangers or they aren’t allowed for religious reasons. This is a problem because loads of people die per day because there weren’t any donors left, or was given to someone else because they needed it more. There is also problem with finance as the cost for equipment and medical care is rising.
