Dear Congressman Aderholt,
My name is Charles Rothwell. I am an 18 year old from Clara City, Minnesota. I would like to talk to you about an idea for a bill I have. It concerns Immigration. I am very heated about the topic of Immigration and I feel like this bill would help our country as individuals and as a nation. Yes I know most of our ancestors were immigrants but I feel immigration was okay centuries ago because this country needed people to help start it. I feel like we should have stricter immigration laws now.
My bill consists of two parts. The first part calls for stronger border patrol. We should use some of the taxpayer's money to build better borders towards the south so less immigrants cross over. We could also use some extra guards to help watch over the fence. I think this is a good idea even though some people would argue that the nation is using the money poorly and that the taxpayer's money could be used on something else.
The second part of my bill focuses on illegals that cross the border and eventually get a green card. I think that the government should pass more laws on if immigrants come into the United States of America and do not work in the first six months of staying here, they should be deported. That is a fair compromise because if they do not…
