Universal Health Coverage is a system that allows all individuals access to health services such as, periodic screenings, preventative care, treatment, palliative care, rehabilitative care, etc. There are three key points that make up the body of Universal Health Coverage. First there is equity, everyone who needs these services should be able to use them not just the elite class. Second there is quality of health care, the services received must be able to improve the health of those receiving them. Finally, there is financial security, individuals should not be fearful of financial debt relating to health care. These concepts are not new, Aristotle talked about equity and the need to nourish one’s body. Kant developed the Formula of Humanity
