Unplanned Pregnancies of Teens The effects that you get for being a teen and getting pregnant has its fault. The consequences of an unplanned pregnancy go beyond just the effects of the teen. It also has a lot to do with the teen, the boyfriend, the family, and the baby. I speculate that both parents will go through physical, emotional, and psychological problems. For example, the show Teen Mom has a big impact on how teens are effected when they are pregnant. To some people it makes them wish they should have a baby, and for others it makes them glad they don’t have one. Some of the effects are long term for most families and make a big impact for the rest of their lives.
The first effect is when teen parents go through emotional tolls. When there is an unplanned pregnancy and the mother, father, or both do not want the baby, usually it’s decided to get an abortion or not. When the mother, father, or anyone else do not agree on what to do it, can often lead to emotional effects for the parents. Teens that carry a baby can change their body while the fetus is growing. Pregnant teens can suffer from morning sickness, weight gain, changes in eating, and tiredness. As a baby can grow mothers can have back pain and the mother will need to urinate a lot. These changes can be challenging for a young mother whose own body may be still developing. It can be hard for young parents to even attend school and have a normal teen social life. It might be a lot easier for teens to wait until adult hood to start a family. A father can often feel a lot of stress and confusion when trying to change into a teen to a young adult. Fathers usually have to be the ones to make the money and go to work for a while, meaning focusing less on an education. Also, teens often suffer from
