Unspoken Heroes, most people think of firefighters, or policemen, or maybe charities. But has anyone thought of gamers? The gamming community is one of the most diverse, yet well minded people. If anyone can convince gamers to help, they will have a huge success. Gammers can be known for dedication, and most gamers are people who want to help. Gamers are an untapped well of resources, skills, and diversity.
Gamers are an amazing source of resources, there are millions of gamers all around the world, and there are huge competitions and other minor competitions. Charities are the main way that gamers can give there aid in ways they feel is right. The main charity is called Child’s Play, they get games and other toys into the hands of children’s hospitals to ensure that the kids are not bored. In the 2011 year they raised $3,512,340! Youtube is an abundant help for Child’s Play. Gamers that are much more well-known on youtube, do charity events where they ask for donation to Child’s Play, to prove that Gamers can make a difference.
Most people don’t think that playing games can give you any skills that will help you in the future. Most people would be wrong. A game called World of Warcraft, is an MMORPG, Which means “Massive multiplayer online role playing game”, in this game people can make a “Guild” And that is a group that a lot of people to join, and there are a huge variety of guilds, from guilds that want to just play and have fun, and there are also others that are much more hardcore and they care more about being good at the game, then going at
