Business Leader Ursula Burns is an American business executive , who has serve as chairman (2010- 17) and CEO (2009-16) of a international document -management and business - services company.( Jeannette L. Nolen ). Mrs. Burns grew up in the projects on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Mrs Burns attended Cathedral High School, Roman Catholic (preparatory school) excelling at math, bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (1980) Polytechnic Institute of New York University in Brooklyn, master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University and two undergraduate schools the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the School of General Studies. Ursula gain her reputation by becoming the first African American woman to lead a fortune 500 company and she transformed Xerox into an international services provider and made it profitable.by Chitra, Sethi (2015).
Ursula leadership style was getting to know others, unites, spread the message and she remain loyal and for it to work the team has to be as one and just one individual would leave a lot of blind spots.
