The University of Phoenix Student and Faculty Portal is the website all enrolled students and faculty use to manage their education/instructing. The following user’s manual will give step-by-step instructions to navigate the website and make the student’s learning experience trouble free.
Begin by clicking on the link below:
Next, type in your Username and Password then click Login. From there you can navigate through the tabs and pages with this easy to follow manual.
The Classroom tab is the main link to a student’s current class. Students can review the course description, along with the objectives and materials for each week for the duration of the course (five weeks).The tab contains sub-links to the following: Materials, Discussion, Assignments and Grades. Note: the Classroom and Materials tabs are the same page.
The Discussion tab allows access to all Forums for the current class. Here students may post a new thread, read existing threads, and reply to threads.

My Preferences: General provides the following settings: My Display Name, Compose Message, and My Signature.
• My Display Name is how the students name will be displayed throughout the classroom environment.
• Compose Message is the default settings used when composing a new message or reply. Auto spell check and Compose messages in a new window are two additional selections that can be made under this section.
• My Signature allows the student to select which messages (All, New Post, Replies, or None) to apply a signature to.

My Preferences: Organize Messages provides the option of color coding messages posted by different class members (each individual classmate and the instructor).
The Assignments tab provides details on each assignment listed for the course. Students are able to submit (upload) completed assignments by clicking on the corresponding week and assignment. The assignment title, points earned, points possible, due date, and submission indication are all displayed for each weeks assignments.
A student can review an instructor’s comments on an assignment after it has been graded provided their instructor uploads the graded assignment.

A student can select an assignment for specific details by clicking on the assignment name. This link allows the student to submit (upload by selecting the browse button, then locate the assignment file) re-submit, and view graded paper(s). The points earned and points possible are also viewable at the top of the page.
Note: A √Success banner will appear at the top of the screen when a document(s) has successfully been uploaded. If the banner does not appear try refreshing the page or re-upload the document(s).
