For case one, the lack of morality in the decision is unanimous. No matter if the intentions are judged or the consequences, the action is still morally wrong. Although killing innocent people is wrong and the choice was made selfishly, the young man is not responsible for the immoral action. He was acting on false information, which he had to believe was true. The young man was brainwashed since he was born. He knew no other way of life and most likely had no access to influences that would lead him to believe killing Jews is wrong.
Kantian Ethics would support the idea that the young man is not at fault. His dignity as a human being was not respected because he was fed lies in order to benefit the political goals of a group unconcerned with
