Parents will do anything possible to make sure their children are healthy. Vaccines can be the number one way to protect your child. Vaccines are known for preventing diseases. Vaccinations are considered modern medicine and an important role in health care. Vaccines has helped several generations from catching diseases. According to Jennifer Ehreth, as many as 3 million deaths are prevented and approximately 750,000 children are spared disability, worldwide, each year. However, there are many people who are against vaccinations. I believe that children should get vaccinated because the effectiveness and the tremendous outcome vaccines have on children. CDC says “immunizations have had an enormous impact on improving the health of children in the United States.” Although parents who are against vaccinations think that they don’t need to vaccinate their children because infection rates are already low, vaccines are continuing to improve the health of millions. According to CDC, 732,000 children’s lives have been saved in the past 20 years due to routine vaccinations. “322 million cases of children getting sick were prevented” (Bahar). For the parents that are against vaccinating their child they should reconsider because the effectiveness and the outcome of vaccines are phenomenal. The Vaccines for Children program has “helped raise the rates and maintain a level above 90 coverage” (Bahar). “About 79 million U.S chilcren were born during the study period and each was saved from four infectious diseases, on average, thanks to vaccination” (Bahar). Vaccines are proven to be safe and effective way to save millions of
